Wolf Creek Ski Area Replacing Nova Lift Cable

"Summer is in full bloom at Wolf Creek Ski Area and off-season projects are underway!"

That's the latest headline from Wolf Creek, the much-loved and snowiest resort in Colorado.

"The Nova Lift will have a new lift cable installed this summer," said today's announcement. "The process began with a measurement of the length of the current cable."

Besides the new cable on the Nova lift, Wolf Creek has done a number of upgrades in the past year, including the installment of the Tumbler Lift, which is Wolf Creek’s eleventh chair lift. The new lift is adjacent to the Lynx Learning Center and parallel to the Okey Dokey trail.

Also, the new Charity Jane Bridge, which makes sense when you're down on the flats.

The resort continues to grow, as does the number of Pagosa Springs fans of skiing Wolf Creek.
