From star-studded new movies like Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore sequel to the return of hit series like Arcane , Cobra Kai , and Squid Game , there are tons of exciting new Netflix releases on deck that will dominate the streamer in short order.

A look at just some of these Netflix titles below — 16, in all — should be enough to remind anyone why the nearly 30-year-old streaming giant remains the player to beat, never mind that rivals like Disney+ and Prime Video continue to nip at its heels (but are still far behind, in terms of paid subscribers).

Recently announced Netflix releases include the highly anticipated Happy Gilmore 2 , as well as the new 10-episode comedy Golf starring Will Ferrell and executive produced by Ramy Youseff. The latter, a scripted series in which Ferrell will play a fictional golf legend, is the funnyman’s first TV comedy.

A documentary about one of the most universally despised rock bands is coming to Netflix

Other big projects on the horizon include The Waterfront , a new family drama from Kevin Williamson (the creator of Dawson’s Creek and The Vampire Diaries ). Inspired by true events, Williamson’s new show explores the story of a flawed family as their attempts to retain control of their crumbling North Carolina fishing empire drive them to take increasingly dangerous actions.

And then there’s The Woman in Cabin 10 , a film starring Keira Knightley and based on the bestselling novel by Ruth Ware . “While on a luxury cruise for a travel assignment,” Netflix explains about this release, “a journalist witnesses a passenger tossed overboard late one night, only to be told that she must have dreamed it, as all passengers are accounted for. Despite not being believed by anyone onboard, she continues to look for answers, putting her own life in danger.”
