DSHS vaccine clinic scheduled for tomorrow News Staff Tue, 06/18/2024 - 6:52 am For those worried about the cost of vaccinations for the 20242025 school year, the Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) program and Adult Safety Net (ASN) programs may be able to help. The Texas Department of State Health Services will be offering routine immunizations for infants, children and adults by appointment Thursday, June 20 at Live Oak Baptist Church. A parent or guardian over the age of 19 must accompany a minor under the age of 18. The TVFC Program provides vaccines free of charge for children who are 18 years of age or younger and meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria: • Enrolled or eligible for participation in the Medicaid program • American Indian or Alaskan Native • Uninsured (children who do not have health insurance) • Underinsured (children with private insurance but coverage does not include vaccines or only includes select vaccines).
