A Golden Retriever had the best time showing off her cute stuffed Giraffe toy to the kids who were playing outside.

On May 29, 2024, TikTok user Lucy the Golden Retriever shared a video of a moment caught on camera that's really, really cute. Take a look!

In a 10-second video , we meet up with Lucy the Golden Retriever, who found the perfect moment to bond with the kids in the neighborhood.

"Lucy was watching the kids play in the street and wanted to show them her giraffe," the text on the video reads.

In the clip, Lucy has a small stuffed giraffe toy fully in her mouth, and she's basically got her nose right up against the window glass to try and make sure the kids outside would see her.

Since she's so close to the window and the video clip is so short, we don't get to see if the kids outside eventually notice her. Or learn what they thought of the really cute toy she was trying to show off.

But her mom was proud, writing "So cute" in the caption. And the comment section filled up with people who were happy to let Lucy know how cool her giraffe stuffy is.

"We really don't deserve dogs," one person shared.

"Oh this is just gorgeous," someone else added.

"I would buy Lucy all the giraffes in the world," admitted another.

"I hope they noticed," someone else added.

"Aww, lovely giraffe, gorgeous girl," another person wrote.

What Kind of Toys Do Golden Retrievers Love?

It's clear that Lucy really loves stuffies, especially that giraffe of hers. But what kind of toys are best for Golden Retrievers in general? And what are some favorites?

"Good toys for Golden Retriever puppies include fetch and ball toys, tug toys, squeaky toys, plush toys, puzzle toys, chew toys, and more," Chewy explains. "Golden retriever puppies are energetic and athletic, so choose toys that get your little buddy running and playing off all that puppy energy."

Golden Retrievers are also really smart pups, and they love to solve puzzles, which helps them run out some energy, too, by thinking and solving.

"Toys that help your puppy problem solve and learn provide great stimulation, while chew toys help with teething and teach your puppy what he should and should not chew," Chewy explains.

According to the American Kennel Club , an average Golden Retriever needs "plenty of daily exercise," and when they're not able to get enough time to run off all their energy, it can have some unwanted effects.

"A Golden who doesn't get enough exercise is likely to engage in undesirable behavior," the organization warns. But they don't need complicated exercise routines or equipment. "Goldens make great companions on long runs and bike rides, although consultation with a vet is recommended before starting strenuous or high-impact activities that might cause stress to the dog's bones and joints," the American Kennel Club Shares.

"Many Goldens happily get their exercise on hunting trips or at field trials, as well as by participating in canine sports such as agility, obedience, and tracking."

Hopefully, Lucy was able to show off her favorite toy to those kids in the neighborhood!
