Lane closures coming to S.R. 550 in Martin County

MARTIN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Drivers who travel along State Road 550 in Martin County will soon see road crews and lane closures.

That’s according to INDOT who said crews would begin alternating lane closures along S.R. 550 on or around Wednesday, June 26.

The closures will run between U.S. 50 and U.S. 150, and will allow workers to complete pavement patching on the roadway.

According to a release work on the road will occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays. The project is expected to last through the month of July.

INDOT encourages all drivers to slow down and be alert of their surroundings when traveling through the area.
