    According to Johns Hopkins medicine, there are plenty of foods that you can eat to help prevent acid reflux. They fall into a few categories such as: high-fiber foods, alkaline foods and watery foods. Here are some favorites that fit those buckets and may save you from the antacids.

    Oatmeal

    Oatmeal is high in fiber and helps to absorb stomach acid because of this. It's a great breakfast option for sufferers and pairs well with other reflux-friendly toppings.

    Bananas

    Bananas are another high fiber food that are a good choice for people struggling with acid reflux. They’re easy to digest and help coat the stomach lining. Enjoy them as a gentle, soothing snack or topping your morning bowl of oats.

    Sweet Potatoes
