National Best Friend Day is the perfect opportunity to show your BFF how much you cherish them. For two Golden Retriever sisters, it's another day to show their love in the cutest way.

On June 8, 2024, the TikTok account for Daisy & Maple ( @daisythegoldee ) shared the sweetest way their Golden Daisy shows affection to her little sister Maple on demand. Take a look at the adorableness!

In the brief 13-second clip captioned, "Send this to your bestie," Mom tells Daisy to give kisses to her little sister to which she promptly responds by—what else—giving kisses! To prove it's not a one-off coincidence, she does it again and again while Maple happily takes the smooch. It's the most precious thing on the internet and with more than 63,000 likes and hundreds of comments, many agree.

"This is the cutest trick I've seen," one person wrote. "Ohh those are the cutest kisses ever!!" another said. "It’s the lip smacks for me!" another added with Daisy and Maple's human responding with, "She just started doing that on her own!"

Thanks to these sisters, it's official: this is the only way to show your bestie love forevermore!

How Do You Train Your Dog to Kiss On Cue?

Daisy and Maple's cute trick may seem impossible, but it's actually quite simple to teach. According to The American Kennel Club, you can easily achieve this in a few steps starting with having treats (and possibly a clicker) at all times you want to train. Then, when your dog licks you (as they tend to do), praise them/click and offer them a treat.

Continue doing this, rewarding the behavior, then add in a verbal cue like "kiss" or "smooch." Repeat with praise and a treat (or two). It won't take long before your dog understands the connection. From there, keep up with the verbal cue and reward with praise every time.

After a while, you can teach them to do the trick on your hand or another part of your face. To get them to perform like Daisy, make the kissing noise and when they lick, give them a treat and praise again. The site also adds, it's important to use high-value treats like peanut butter , so they'll want to do as you ask. It all comes down to repetition, and because dogs love to work for a treat, this is an easy yet impressive trick to show friends.
