Suspect in Alabama, Oklahoma murders in Arkansas custody

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — UPDATE: Multiple agencies across Oklahoma and Arkansas have confirmed that a man wanted for four murders is in Oklahoma and Alabama is in custody.

“The wanted suspect, Stacy Drake, has been captured and is in custody in Conway County,” Sheriff Mike Smith with Conway County said. Drake was found Thursday morning, according to a Conway County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.

According to the Morrilton Police Department, Drake is accused of murder in Alabama and three murders in Oklahoma .

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arkansas State Police reports that an Alabama man is wanted for multiple homicides

Stacy Lee Drake, 50, is said to be involved with three homicides in Oklahoma. He was last seen on foot outside a motel around 8 p.m. in Morrilton, Ark., ASP said in a news release.

Drake is a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5’11” and weighs 185 pounds, the news release states.

Anyone who sees Drake should not approach him and should call 911 immediately.
