Miranda Lambert Teases Unreleased New Song From Forthcoming (Unofficially Announced) Album

Old school Miranda, and I'm here for it. Yesterday, Miranda Lambert teased a new unreleased song on her TikTok account that will likely be included on her forthcoming (unofficially announced) studio album. She most recently released her first single under Republic Records called "Wranglers," which is a vengeful song with a  take-no-sh*t message that certainly harkens back to 2007 Miranda and hits like “Kerosene,” and this new one seems to also be in line with the Miranda we first met two decades ago. The clip she shared featured a simple production, that seemingly finds her looking back on a breakup and how now that she's gone, this guy finally sees her worth and how good he had it: "We were picture perfect but you couldn't put it in a frame, Yeah now that I made it to the other side, I hope you're countin' singles in your double wide, Smokin' cigarettes like they're going out of style, Turnin' me up on your radio dial, You gave up to the very last minute, Now that I'm gone I've got your attention" She doesn't miss... I love the sound of this already: In terms of the direction of the new record, Miranda has previously said that it has a lot of steel guitar and a honky tonk feel, and she made it in Texas with longtime friend and collaborator Jon Randall, who produced it alongside her. Miranda most recently released her Palomino album back in 2022, and I just can't wait to hear all of the new music she has coming soon. Stay tuned...
