Over the past 7 days, Valle Nevado has accumulated nearly 6 feet of snow, bringing this season's total to an impressive 130 inches just within the first few weeks of opening. In a typical winter, the resort averages 240 inches of snow annually, and this early snowfall is setting the stage for a spectacular winter season.

These excellent early season conditions allowed the resort to open 3 weeks ahead of schedule, with daily operations starting two weeks early on June 7.
