Melissa Claire Egan Shares Her Incredible Trip to Monaco!

Every year, CBS sends some of its stars from The Bold & The Beautiful and The Young & The Restless to the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. For 63 years, the Principality of Monaco has been hosting the festival where major studios, networks, digital platforms, and stars come together for several days to promote their work and compete for the Golden Nymph Awards.

This year, the CBS Daytime stars in attendance were Y&R ’s Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) and Joshua Morrow (Nick) as well as B&B ’s Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) and Thorsten Kaye (Ridge). And the actors had a marvelous time enjoying the sights and sounds of Monaco while representing the CBS soaps before an international audience.

Egan shared a behind-the-scenes peek at some of what went on during their fantastic trip, so scroll through the gallery below and it’ll feel like you were right there with them!

1. Seeing her face on a banner advertising the festival had to be quite the experience for Egan. "Thank you to the Monte-Carlo TV Festival for having us, it’s been a pleasure and an honor to represent Y&Rs at this incredible TV festival."

2. Egan was delighted to have her husband, Matt Katrosar, on her arm for the festivities, but left their sons, Jake and Caden behind. "Before this trip, I was very anxious to leave my children," Egan admitted before joking: "Once here, I forgot I had children."

3. As she got her makeup done for the gala events, Egan had plenty of time to take in the spectacular view from her hotel balcony.

4. "Such an amazing time in gorgeous Monte Carlo with some of my favorite people," Egan declared, here posing with Lang and Morrow at a photocall.

5. Egan snapped this pic of Morrow and Kaye having absolutely no fun at all on the red carpet.

6. Some of the events at the festival are open to the public, like this panel where the actors came together to share behind-the-scenes secrets from B&B and Y&R.

7. Egan, here with Morrow and their spouses all glammed up on the red carpet, called the trip "an experience I will treasure forever."

8. On the red carpet for the festival's closing ceremony, the Y&R and B&B stars posed with Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene of Monaco.
