When it comes to staying cool during the summer, pop up pools are often a quick and easy option. And while these setups can be a great addition to your summer plans, they aren't always visually appealing.

This is true for the stock tank pool as well. The Galvanized steel structure has risen in popularity thanks to the ongoing love for all things farmhouse chic, but not everyone likes the look of the metal tub.

Fortunately, one clever woman has found a way to update her pool, giving it an amazing new look that really helps to up the aesthetic value of the tub.

We are low-key obsessed with how @lutzkelaura decided to take some peel-and-stick tiles and transform her tub into a true oasis. And while we thought the stock tank totally looked amazing beforehand — listen, it's close to 100 degrees here this week, we think that a deep enough puddle would make for a good swimming spot , as long as it promises to cool us down — there's no arguing with how great it looks in the end.

In fact, this has us seriously considering whether or not we could get away with adding one of these pools to our yard!

While we really are all about the idea of adding a stock tank pool to the yard, it's worth noting that depending on where you live, you may need to jump through some hoops, which may include getting a permit and having an inspection done on your electrical work.

If all of that sounds doable to you, then you're going to want to keep reading!

How To Install a Stock Tank Pool

Once you've dotted all the "i's" and crossed all the "t's" it will be time to get to work on installing your stock tank pool. This couple has an excellent tutorial on TikTok about how they got their pool set up , and once you see the picturesque view they have while they're floating, you'll understand why they picked this option!

Just remember, while many people get their pools from the Tractor Supply Store, there are other places you can can get one from. That being said, you will pay a premium when you purchase one from a non-agricultural supply store , so if you have a TSS nearby, it may be worth the drive to go get one on  your own!

And, if you've gotten this far and you've decided that you're also going to tile your stock tank pool like the OP did, just be sure to follow her instructions and use marine grade products when adhering to tiles to the pool and when giving them a top coat to protect them from the water.

Other than that, all that you have left to do is swim!
