Have you been dying to add some greenery to your home but don't quite know where to start? Costco has the perfect plant for you and right now it's on sale for such an affordable price.
Large plants are one of our favorite ways to decorate our indoor spaces. Who needs a gallery wall or a side table when you have giant green leaves instead! Unfortunately more often than not the ones we find are either too small or too expensive. We could always go for the faux plant option, but real ones are so much more fun!
Costco always is our go-to store for plant deals and right now this one is just too good to pass up.
Thanks to TikTok pages like Costco Hot Finds ( @costcohotfinds ), we get the inside scoop on all things Costco, from their newest bedroom furniture drops to their garden specials.
The wholesale chain is always ahead of the game when it comes to home decor and accessories but this summer they are seriously knocking it out of the park. Every week we add another must-have item to our shopping lists!
This time, it's all about the plants.
For only $49.99, Costco shoppers can pick up a full-grown fiddle leaf fig and bring it home to accessorize their living rooms, bedrooms, or even their foyers. The placement options are endless with this plant!
If you've never heard of a fiddle leaf fig before, these small trees are a must-have for anyone who wants to bring the outside indoors. With their gorgeous violin-shaped leafs and rich green color, fiddle leaf figs are even a non-gardener's best friend.
How to Take Care of a Fiddle Leaf Fig
While yes, this plant does require a bit of attentive care, the work is so worth it. Just look at those gorgeous leaves!
A fiddle leaf fig will usually come in a plastic container when you buy it from the store, so definitely make sure to transfer it to a stable pot, like a terracotta, with a drainage hole. We even recommend adding stones to the bottom of the pot before adding your plant for even better drainage.
Make sure to keep this baby in the light and away from drafts, like doors or windows. It only needs watered about once a week, but always check beforehand because overwatering the fig can be deadly. Test the soil to make sure it's super dry before adding water.
The extra care is worth the beauty!
