Craig Conover Won’t ‘Get Too Involved’ After Summer House Reunion

Southern Charm drama is more than enough. Craig Conover is a Bravolebrity crossover blessing, as the popular Bravolebrity often appears on Summer House . He accompanies Paige DeSorbo occasionally to one of the infamous weekends in The Hamptons.

Their long-distance relationship is often under scrutiny by Paige’s co-stars. The fashion contributor is still wary about taking the next step with her Charleston-based boyfriend.

But Craig stays out of the drama of that particular reality TV show. He recently explained his reasoning for not responding to Summer House’s criticism of him.

The Southern Charm star would rather “lift people”

“I try not to get too involved with their stuff,” Craig exclusively told Us Weekly .

This comment comes on the heels of the Season 8 reunion of Summer House during which Danielle Olivera revealed that she spread rumors that Craig was axed from Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s nuptials in 2021.

Danielle had no regrets about the “leak,” calling it “juicy as f-k.” Craig did not go low. He told Us Weekly that he was “bummed” about the work “leak” because it implied truth to the “made up” story. “It didn’t happen, which kind of hurt my feelings,” Craig stated.

While the Southern Charm star denied being kicked out, he did admit that he drank “too much.” “When we were already leaving, I basically was [told] like, ‘You know what? I don’t think you need to come back in here,’” he explained.

As the event was filmed, Craig suggested that fans “would’ve seen it on TV” had he been removed from the venue. Rational as ever, he said, “Everyone’s going through something” and “Sometimes people just get pulled into the mud.”

“I guess I’ll never understand trying to tear people down. But see, I’ve been guilty of that stuff in the past too, and that’s why I just try to show people that [grace],” Craig revealed.

He added, “I try to just focus on what I can control, which is myself and my reactions to other people. I try not to get too worked up about stuff like that.”

So fans need not expect a rebuttal to Danielle’s comments about the wedding, or his relationship with Paige.
