That’s so difficult to even fathom.</p><p>I’ve only had the opportunity to see McCartney on TV and YouTube. Never had the joy of seeing the legend in person. But I do have a McCartney story about a musician who met the ex-Beatle up close and personal.</p><p>About 20 (maybe a few more) years ago Jennifer and I vacationed at Universal Orlando and dined at what is now Bice, a fine dining Italian place (Can’t remember what it was called way back when prior to Bice but looks almost the same).</p><p>Great place. Superb dining. Very romantic.</p><figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=3zwe65_0twpNPnx00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=3zwe65_0twpNPnx00" width="900" height="597" ></figure><p>A strolling guitarist stopped at our table and I believe we requested “Bella Notte” and also “Till There Was You” a la the Paul McCartney version. Our vocalist obliged and it started the conversation ball rolling about McCartney.</p><p>Our musician friend during the very early years of the Beatle in America was working at an Italian restaurant/café in New York City. Suddenly one night the subdued diners saw the young Paul burst his way inside, desperately running from a frenzied crowd outside that was in desperate pursuit of the bass player. The Beatlemania craziness was something out of a scene from the movie “A Hard Day’s Night.”</p><p>Our restaurant singer said McCartney was hastily ushered to the farthest room in the back and hidden from fanatic fans.
