‘How Can You Not Hit That?!’ Nathan Wade Asked About Relationship with Fani Willis in Cringeworthy Interview

Former Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade made a cringeworthy appearance on The Daily Show , Tuesday, during which he was repeatedly mocked and questioned about his past sexual relationship with Fulton County D.A. Fani Willis .

“D.A. Willis is a respectable mother, a brilliant legal mind. We spent countless hours preparing this case, investigating this case,” said Wade during the interview, as the fictional, Borat-esque host ‘Quon – played by Marlon Wayans – laughed

“I see how it happened, countless hours, and I need a foot rub, you know what I mean, and she rub your foot,” replied Quon. “And I’m like, ‘Hey let me give you a massage,’ and all of a sudden, boom boom, we up on this desk. Man.”

Wade insisted, “No. Not even close. Not even close.”

After Quon asked, “She liked-ed you, or you liked-ed her?” Wade replied, “That’s a great question, right? So, during the course of the investigation, we would meet early mornings, weekends, spent full days–”

“How can you not hit that?! How can you not?!” interrupted Quon, as Wade laughed. “We spending that much time together, we doing everything, we might as well.”

After Wade said Willis was less of a boss to him and “more analogous to a client,” Quon questioned, “So you served her well?” as the audience laughed.

“I did. I did my job,” Wade responded.

Wade then spoke about how he and Willis initially interviewed other people for the position of prosecutor, prompting Quon to mock, “What position was it? Did that position look like this? Or this?”

Quon then made several sexual poses for the camera as Wade watched on.

“Young Black men need a role model,” said Quon during another question. “What’s your advice to kids in the hood that’s out there that wanna grow up and have their dick potentially in democracy?”

Wade began to laugh uncontrollably before telling the camera, “Cut!”

The interview received mixed reactions on social media, with some users criticizing Wade for not taking the situation seriously.

“This is gross. Nathan Wade should be embarrassed,” reacted constitutional law professor Anthony Michael Kreis . “And Fani Willis, whatever her mistakes, deserves better than this. As do the people of Fulton County.”
