For years, people with Visa business cards could enroll in a program called Visa SavingsEdge. This program provided card-linked offers that gave statement credits for certain retailers, services, travel companies, etc. For example, you could earn 2% when filling up at Chevron, 4% on Wyndham and MGM Resorts bookings, 5% on Mailchimp subscription payments, etc.

Shopping portal Rakuten is featuring increased rates for Dell purchases today, with 10% / 10x Membership Rewards points per dollar spent on laptops and desktops or 12% / 12x Membership Rewards points per dollar spent on Accessories, Servers, and Monitors. If you have a card with semi-annual Dell credits, today could be a good day to make use of any remaining credits for the first half of 2024. Robinhood Gold costs $5 per month and comes with a number of benefits, including (currently) 5% APY on uninvested cash, a 3% match on IRA contributions, and a handful of other benefits. A while back, Doctor of Credit reported a cool benefit I hadn’t realized: Gold members can access up to $1,000 a month via margin borrowing interest-free. I just noticed an update they did last month that some users can actually borrow up to $2,000 interest-free, and sure enough I see that capability in my own account. That might be of interest to some since one could at least theoretically pull that cash out and put it in a high-yield vehicle to come out ahead of the cost of Robinhood Gold.

Logansport, Ind. – The Indiana State Police (ISP) are seeking the public's assistance in locating 14-year-old Bryson Muir, who is believed to be missing and endangered. Investigators from ISP have recently communicated with Bryson's parents, Daniel and Kristen Muir. Despite their initial lack of cooperation, they have begun to show signs of willingness to assist in the investigation. However, Bryson has yet to be seen or located by ISP or the Cass County Department of Child Services (DCS).
