LEVERETT, Mass. (WWLP) – Adoption fees have been reduced for a red shepherd/pit mix who has been in shelters for over a year and a half.

Good Samaritan Law protects kids and pets in hot cars

Harold is approximately two and a half years old and looking for his forever home. After being in a Tennessee shelter for a year, he was brought to Massachusetts in October by Better Together Dog Rescue in Leverett.

Jill Fleming at Better Together Dog Rescue says that the shelter can’t figure out why he hasn’t been adopted yet. Harold is described as a big goofball, with a heart of gold and the soul of an angel. They say he is the friendliest dog in their care and gets along with other dogs and cats.

If you are interested in fostering Harold, his adoption fee has been reduced to $200 for June, you can apply on the Better Together Dog Rescue website.
