Now, one of our childhood favorite snack brands is bringing back an iconic flavor, and we can’t wait to dive into these!

Gushers Brings Back Watermelon Flavor

Gushers candy, also known as Fruit Gushers, recently brought back its fan-favorite watermelon flavor- just in time for the summer.

Gushers are chewy candies with a juicy center that have a nostalgic appeal for many who grew up in the 1990s and early 2000s. They come in a variety of flavors, such as strawberry, grape, and tropical.

Gushers were first introduced in 1991 and they were created by General Mills, under the Betty Crocker brand. These fun little candies have appeared in various pop culture references and they have released different variations throughout the years.

For example, there is a sour version of Gushers that adds a tangy twist to the original sweet flavor. Occasionally, the brand releases limited edition flavors to celebrate certain events or holidays, complete with fun packaging, and sometimes, they bring back flavors like the watermelon Gushers.

The return of this fan-favorite flavor is a big deal and one we can't wait for.

Watermelon Gushers first hit stores in 1997 and they haven’t been around since 2013, and that makes its comeback a major reason to celebrate, especially for fans of the candy.

These Watermelon Gushers are now paired with a brand new flavor all in the same pouch. For the first time, Gushers will have a Sour Apple Gusher that features bursts of sweet and tart flavors that help complement the watermelon flavor.

This sounds like a summer mashup that we have to try right away!

You can now find Watermelon and Sour Apple Gushers at local grocery stores with the choice of two different sizes. You can get a 6-count priced at $4.69 or the 20-count for $10.29.

If you have kids at home, you definitely want to grab the 20-count because these will be gone in no time!
