Bride Releases Butterflies To Honor Late Dad — What They Do Has Her Amazed

There are so many ways to honor a loved one at your wedding. For bride Amy Perry, this was through the release of monarch butterflies. While the idea was already amazing in theory, she had no idea just how perfect it would be until the big moment arrived. This was a special tribute to her late dad. That’s why she did so during the ceremony — it was a way to make it feel as though he was there.

Like Amy, you might imagine that once released, the butterflies would fly away. Or, perhaps, stick around to linger on some flowers. Instead, most of the butterflies made a temporary home all over the bride, making her look as though she were perfectly decorated with the monarchs! Best of all, though, the comfort these friendly butterflies provided felt like they were coming straight from her own dad.
