Kendrick Lamar continues to prod at Drake amid what is widely considered a victory over his rap rival.

The West Coast native is now demanding that Drake give back a ring, previously owned by rap legend 2Pac that he purchased, in exchange for his “respect” moving forward. During Lamar’s recent The Pop Out: Ken And Friends concert, Kendrick made the declaration while performing “Euphoria,” one of the numerous diss records released during his rhyme war with Drake.

During the set, instead of rapping the line “Matter of fact, I ain’t even bleed him yet, can I bleed him,” the To Pimp a Butterfly creator replaces the lyric by saying if Drake gives him “Tupac’s ring back,” he’ll possibly give him “a little respect.”

Kendrick Lamar accepts the Best Rap Album award for “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers” onstage during the 65th GRAMMY Awards at Crypto.com Arena on February 05, 2023 in Los Angeles, California.

The ring K. Dot was referring to is a pricey piece of jewelry that Drake purchased for north of $1 million at an auction in 2023. The trinket is said to have been worn on Pac’s left ring finger when he made his last public appearance on Sept 4, 1996, at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The rap legend would be shot multiple times in a drive-by shooting just three days later, ultimately succumbig to his injuries.

Lamar’s inclusion of “Euphoria” into his show was just one instance during The Pop Out that saw the wordsmith add insult to injury in his attack of Drake.

Recording artist Kendrick Lamar performs on the Samsung Stage during day two at Austin City Limits Music Festival 2016 at Zilker Park on October 1, 2016 in Austin, Texas.

Gathering an extensive list of West Coast luminaries to share the stage with him throughout the evening, Kendrick entertained the crowd with his chart-topping Drake diss “Not Like Us” not once, but 6 times over, an indication that he’s yet to fully disengage despite Drizzy seemingly waving the white flag last month.

In addition to calling for Shakur’s ring to be returned, Kendrick channeled his spirit while teaming up with Dr. Dre for a performance of Pac’s 1996 single, “California Love.” With Lamar filling in for Pac and reciting the late icon’s verse on the track, the moment was one of many that spoke to his influence and enduring legacy.
