Many customers love Costco’s Kirkland Signature brand because it is a great way to save money. After all, Kirkland Signature items are made by the same companies that make the big brand-name products.

This was the case for Kirkland's famous Brand House Blend Coffee, which was made in partnership with Starbucks Coffee. Customers could easily recognize the coffee chain's famous green and white packaging, with a logo that said "Custom Roasted by Starbucks Coffee Company."

So when the coffee's packaging suddenly changed to a bag without the Starbucks logo, customers took to social media to express their concerns. "I finally tried my new bag," one person wrote on a r/Costco Reddit thread. "It’s really sad. Need to find a new option, I will not get again."

Another person agreed and commented, "Super bummed as the old beans were cheap, tasted good, and a really solid dry/medium roast."

While it's unknown why the coffee bags changed, people speculate that Costco's contract with Starbucks has expired, forcing the retailer to source its coffee elsewhere.

And while fans seem disappointed with Kirkland's coffee, there are still many items under the in-house brand that customers love. Here are a few that may surprise you.
