Heidi Klum Takes Her Shirt Off, Burps, on 'Hot Ones'

Heidi Klum is known for having a notoriously good sense of humor about herself, as evidenced by her penchant for elaborate, decidedly unsexy Halloween costumes . So it should come as little surprise that Klum agreed to appear on Hot Ones , the popular series in which celebrities are interviewed while eating increasingly spicy hot wings.

However, given that the German-born supermodel does not exactly have a palate for spicy food, this was easier said than done. And before the episode was over, sure enough, Klum literally lost her shirt trying to cool down.

To her credit, the 51-year-old made it through seven rounds of hot sauces before meeting her match with Da' Bomb Beyond Insanity hot sauce, which is described as a "Habanero sauce blended with Chipotle, tomato, orange juice, and extra heat from pepper extract." After getting precious little relief from the carafe of buttermilk she requested, Klum shocked host Sean Evans, who exclaimed "Whoa—whoa!" as she unbuttoned her shirt, around the 14-minute mark.

"Now I'm getting hot too, Heidi!" the host laughed. After being told that the heat would stick around for five or 10 minutes, Klum said, "I have to take this off," stripping down to her bra. "I gotta undo a button I think," Evans joked.

When she was finally able to focus on the question she was being asked—about whether being "fashionably late" was overrated or underrated—Klum let out a bit of a gurgle as she went to answer the question. "Wait, I have to burp, one second," she said laughing, holding one sauce-covered finger in front of her face.

Yet, when all was said and done, Da' Bomb proved to be the most challenging for Klum, who blew through all 10 wings, even adding an extra dollop of sauce for the Last Dab final wing of the challenge. And while Hot Ones was perhaps not the most glamorous moment of her career, it certainly earned her some well-deserved bragging rights.
