Morrow’s on St. Claude is Expanding

As Larry Morrow ’s local restaurant empire continues to grow, he’s also planned to expand his first, flagship restaurant in the Marigny . According to documents filed with the City of New Orleans , the upstairs apartments at 2438 Saint Claude Ave. will be demolished so that Morrow’s can expand into the second floor. The expansion will have a new dining room and bar area. It will also have a small dining room for private parties.

After opening Morrow’s in April 2018 with his mother Lenora Chong , Morrow has gone on to open several more concepts, including Sun Chong , Hide/Seek NOLA , and Morrow Steak — the last of which recently hosted Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla for a private dinner. He recently told Axios that he’s looking to build the biggest Black-owned restaurant group in the US.
