Washington, D.C. – June 20, 2024 – Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has again ignited a firestorm of controversy with her recent post on X, formerly known as Twitter, claiming that over 600,000 illegal immigrant children are missing in the United States and many are being sexually abused. Greene's post was based on allegations made by former Deputy Border Patrol Agent J.J. Carrell, who accused the Biden administration of gross negligence and treason.

    Greene wrote:

The article that prompted Greene's post, authored by David Krayden and published on June 19, 2024, in The Post Millennial, presents Carrell's disturbing revelations about the U.S. southern border's conditions. Carrell, who served as Deputy Patrol Agent in Charge for 24 years, has been vocal about the dire situation, alleging a massive child trafficking crisis exacerbated by the Biden administration's immigration policies.

Claims of Child Trafficking and Abuse

Carrell asserts that up to 600,000 children have been moved across the border, often handled by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and human traffickers. He claims these children are "lost" within the system and are being exploited, many falling victim to sexual abuse and trafficking. Carrell's statements highlight the perilous journey many migrants endure, including a high rate of sexual assault on women and children traveling through the Darien Gap in Panama.

"The nightmare begins when migrants begin their journey to the US from Panama. Sixty to eighty percent of all the women and children are sexually assaulted and raped... These kids are officially lost but are being pimped out to pedophiles or sold as sex slaves." ~ J.J. Carrell

    Impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas

Greene referenced her impeachment of Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, accusing him of enabling these alleged atrocities by failing to secure the border and prevent illegal immigration. Carrell supports this claim, citing former Chief of the U.S. Border Patrol Rodney Scott's testimony that Mayorkas instructed the opening of multiple pathways for immigrants.

Carrell described Mayorkas's actions as treason, questioning why he was not impeached immediately. "He stands in front of Congress and lies... He plays all these politicians... It's almost as if he's telling them, 'I have a country to go destroy. Are we done here? Can I go now?'"

    Controversial Assertions and Political Fallout

Carrell's statements are part of a larger narrative he is crafting in a documentary expected to be released in September. He alleges widespread complicity among various NGOs and religious organizations, including Jewish Family Services, Catholic Charities, and Lutheran Family Services, claiming they profit from the trafficking operations.

The former border agent's claims have raised significant concerns about his safety, given the explosive nature of his accusations. "I do have concern; I won't lie. But I just say, ‘Bring it on,’” Carrell said, underscoring his determination to expose what he describes as a catastrophic failure of U.S. immigration policy.

    Calls for Action

Greene's call for action following Carrell's revelations has intensified the debate over the Biden administration's handling of immigration and border security. Her post demands immediate and severe consequences beyond impeachment for those deemed responsible for the alleged crisis.

As these claims circulate, the Biden administration faces increased scrutiny and pressure to address the accusations.
