Welcome to the present, when finding the best plus-size online stores is finally getting just a little bit easier. While the battle for size inclusivity definitely isn’t over, there are so many amazing websites that don’t only offer specific ranges with extended sizing, but actually specialize in giving the people what they want. To help you out on your journey to build the perfect wardrobe this year, I’ve rounded up a few of the best plus-size online stores to shop from.

The Best Plus-Size Online Stores at a Glance

Yes, this list includes some of your go-to brands like Eloquii , but I’ve also included some lesser-known options like Dia & Co . PrettyLittleThing , has an excellent selection of plus-size offerings and everything is so freakin’ cute. If you need more keep-forever basic pieces, consider brands like Universal Standard —many of their products go up to a size 40 and they’re great about putting clothes on models of different sizes, so you can actually see what they’ll look like on your body type. If you’re looking for comfortable staples, SKIMS is where its at. And, of course, you can’t go wrong with a pair of Good American jeans, which have the best gap-proof waistbands.

Of course, I can’t talk about plus-size fashion brands without mentioning ASOS Curve . They’re on the opposite end of the price spectrum from 11 Honore (most of their stuff retails for under $200) but their entire selection is perfectly on-trend every (!) single (!) season. The same goes for Mango’s plus-size range—gone are the days when extended sizing meant that you couldn’t dress like all of your favorite Instagram influencers .

Read on to shop for dresses, bodysuits, and more from 15 of our favorite plus-size brands.

What to Look for When Shopping for Plus Size Fashion

When shopping for plus-size fashion, Kam Thomas Throckmorton , a fashion stylist with over 20 years of experience dressing plus-size women, says not to settle for something that doesn’t feel like an extension of you. “Ruthlessly edit what is offered to you and only buy what makes your heart beat fast,” she notes. “I would rather you have one killer dress that you style 10 different ways than a bunch of sad dresses.”

It’s also worth keeping an open mind, as you never know where you’ll find your next favorite piece of clothing. “I have found great pieces in the men’s department, Goodwill, and even stores that aren’t my style,” Thomas Throckmorton explains. “If you do the work to understand your style, you can find pieces that help you create the look you want.”

What to Avoid When Shopping for Plus Size Fashion

According to Thomas Throckmorton, you shouldn’t settle on a garment just because it fits. “Begin a plus-size woman and working with plus-size women for 20 years, it’s easy to get excited about something just because it fits you,” she notes. She recommends breaking this habit and going to garments that fit you and align with your personal style.

Thomas Throckmorton also recommends shopping online vs. in-store for a more enjoyable experience. “I suggest ordering more than you need and in multiple sizes,” she explains. “It takes the pressure off of trying to make something work that doesn’t,” she adds. With that in mind, she also recommends checking the sizing charts before hitting add to cart, since sizes can vary from brand to brand.
