Some dogs act a little more like human toddlers than others, especially when it comes to not getting their way. Tantrums, fits, and drama are all in a day's work for one German Shepherd named Bear, and his mom caught it all on camera.

On June 17, 2024, Bear's human @bear_jessica02 shared a compilation video on TikTok of the opinionated pup's reaction after being told "no." Watch the hilarious clip below!

"And that’s just a start," the caption to reads. The one-minute video begins with a younger version of Bear riding in the car with Mom while desperately trying to take a little sip of her Diet Coke. Though she tells him "no" repeatedly, he relentlessly keeps at it.

A few of Bear's other tantrums in the video include Bear pouting on the couch because, "I told him he was too big to sit on top of us," followed by "he dropped his ball in the bathtub and couldn't get it out," and "we mentioned going for a ride and then in fact, did not go for a ride."

The final two tantrums came as a result of Mom saying, "I had the audacity to call him into the bedroom because it was bedtime," and "he had to play outside so we could peacefully enjoy our dinner without him whining for scraps."

Through them all, Bear makes a point to bring all the drama, typically pouting or hiding in a corner with a sad looking face to make sure everyone knows how hurt he is.

"Those looks back over his shoulders would have me giving him whatever he wanted. Beautiful pup," one person wrote. "Those eyes!! How can you refuse him anything????" another said, as another joked, "I left ASPCA a voicemail. Expect a knock at your door any minute. Sweet puppy dog. Give him a treat from me!"

Clearly, sweet Bear deserves justice, and the more than 75k followers stand behind him!

How to Stop Your Dog's Temper Tantrums

Though most dog tantrums are hilarious, others can be a sign of something deeper (anxiety, fear, etc.) To put an end to the behavior, Front of the Pack experts say to first identify the cause of their frustration so you know what you're working with. Once you do that, practice training basic commands (consistently), socialize them with others to lessen their anxiety, and make sure they're getting enough exercise and mental stimulation.

If after doing these things nothing changes, seek professional help. The bottom line is to be patient and consistent to see lasting change.

It might take a while to get a handle on your dog's little fits, but if your dog is anything like Bear, at least capture the hilarious temper tantrums on video for a good laugh.
