School might be almost out for the summer, but that doesn’t mean the little ones in the family can’t bring home a little bit of school spirit with them. At any given time, if you take a trip to Target’s Bullseye Playground , you’ll likely find a slew of useful items for $5 or less that are just perfect for the school goer or office worker of the family. And even though summer break is about to be in full effect, there’s always a chance the Playground will provide something that is doubly useful at home.

This week, Target’s $5 and under section produced an adorable looking selection of plastic Mini Lockers that are just perfect to add to your child's room or the family play room. Customers can choose between both pink and blue colorways, each of which retails for $5 and even comes complete with a padlock for safety. Two keys are included, one of which can be used as a spare, and padded feet allow for an easy, scratch-free placement wherever you deem the locker to be fit.

This durable, 1.2-liter locker is ideal for storing small jewelry and other precious items (like your favorite snack), which with a kid's imagination, could literally be anything. Inside the locker are two storage shelves, necklace hooks and a built-in photo frame allowing for further personalization.

There’s nothing more rewarding to a child than having the ability to personalize their own space with the items and colors they love most. And while it is exciting for the school year to be over, this locker is a great way to secure the items your child loves at home instead of using it for what they’re used to: school books, supplies and last week's packed lunch.
