    BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Looking to spend the night at a Louisiana state park? Several have cabin rentals and lodges available on a nightly basis, along with other amenities that can make for a fun family trip, a romantic weekend getaway or just a quick vacation with friends.

    Different facilities offer various activities, including fishing, boating, horseback riding, disc golf, camping and hiking. Many Louisiana state parks also come with overnight options including lodges, cabins and group camps.

    Nightly rates can vary from Sunday through Thursday and for Friday and Saturday.

    Chemin-A-Haut State Park

    Chemin-A-Haut State Park features many activities for all ages, including boating, camping, fishing, hiking and horseback riding. Standard and deluxe cabins are available. Standard cabins are $85 a night, plus tax, Sunday through Thursday and $95 a night, plus tax, Friday and Saturday. Deluxe cabins are $150 a night, plus tax, Sunday through Thursday and $175 a night, plus tax, Friday and Saturday.

    Jimmie Davis State Park

    Jimmie Davis State Park in Chatham offers cabins, lodges and group camps. A deluxe lodge costs $175 per night, plus tax, Sunday through Thursday and $225 per night, plus tax, Friday and Saturday. The lodges can accommodate 14 people, and the cabins can accommodate eight.

    Bogue Chitto State Park

    The Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton features group camps, cabins and lodges. Deluxe lodges cost $175 a night, plus tax, Sunday through Thursday and $225 a night, plus tax, Friday and Saturday.

    Cypremort Point State Park

    The Cypremort Point State Park in Cypremort Points offers several amenities including boating, camping, paddling, fishing and swimming. Facilities at the state park are cabins and pavilions. The deluxe cabins can sleep up to eight people.

    • Where: 306 Beach Lane, Cypremort Point.

    Lake D’Arbonne State Park

    Lake D’Arbonne State Park in Farmerville features cabins, lodges and group camps. Deluxe lodges can sleep up to 14 people and cost $175 a night, plus tax, Sunday through Thursday and $225 a night, plus tax, Friday and Saturday.

    Chicot State Park

    Chicot State Park in Ville Platte provides several amenities including boating, camping, paddling, fishing and hiking. The park features cabins, lodges and group camps.

    Poverty Point Reservoir State Park

    The Poverty Point Reservoir State Park has cabins and lodges. A standard lodge can sleep up to 10 people and costs $155 a night, plus tax, Sunday through Thursday and $210 a night, plus tax, Friday and Saturday.

    Lake Claiborne State Park

    Some of the amenities offered at Lake Claiborne State Park include biking, boating, camping, paddling and disc golf. The state park includes deluxe cabins that sleep up to 8 people.

    South Toledo Bend State Park

    Cabins at South Toledo Bend State Park come with basic cookware, cooking utensils, dinnerware, silverware, towels and linens. The cost is $150 per night, plus tax, Sunday through Thursday and $175 per night, plus tax, Friday and Saturday.

    Palmetto Island State Park

    Deluxe cabins at Palmetto Island State Park can sleep up to eight people. Cabins cost $150 a night, plus tax, Sunday through Thursday and $175 a night, plus tax, Friday and Saturday.

    Lake Fausse Pointe State Park

    Cabins at Lake Fausse Point State Park come with basic cookware, cooking utensils, dinnerware, silverware, towels and linens. Deluxe cabins sleep up to eight people and are $150 per night, plus tax, Sunday through Thursday and $175 per night, plus tax, Friday and Saturday.

    Sam Houston Jones State Park

    Some of the amenities that are offered at the Sam Houston Jones State Park include biking, boating, camping, paddling and fishing. Facilities at the state park are deluxe cabins, deluxe lodges and pavilions.

    North Toledo Bend State Park

    Cabins at North Toledo Bend State Park come with basic cookware, cooking utensils, dinnerware, silverware, towels and linens. Deluxe and group camps are available for rentals.
