Birds will never not be amazing. Just when you've seen all of the birds the world has to offer, you see one you've never seen before and the cycle starts again. Life is not complete if there are still birds left to see!

Take, for example, this red-headed cockatoo. Not only are his colors absolutely breathtaking, but his tantrum over his mom's socks taking up valuable couch space is hilarious. With colors like these, he's truly bringing Angry Birds to life:

I just know @soleil323 has the patience of an angel. She has four cockatoos! The noise must be crazy!

These birds all live with their mom in Australia. The bird in this video is Storm, and he apparently hates socks: every time mom puts them on the couch, he takes them off. It may be because they're in his way, or he may think it's a really weird game. Whatever the case, the socks have to go!

Storm has three cockatoo siblings, including another red-headed (Gang-Gang) cockatoo sister named Skye, a pink cockatoo sister named Summer, and a red-tailed black cockatoo named Shade. All four birds seem to get along pretty well, as siblings do, though we can definitely see some angsty flapping and trash-talking from time to time. I wonder if they all hate socks!

    More About the Gang-Gang Cockatoo

The Gang-Gang cockatoo is not a super common pet bird, especially in the United States. They're native to Australia's woodlands, and generally prefer to be cool and kept with decent humidity. Because of her proximity to their natural habitat, it was likely easier for their mom to get her hands on these birds than it is over here. Since they can live for upwards of 20 years, it's entirely possible that they were passed down to her or rescues.

Gang-Gang cockatoos are actually super cool; they look a little bit more like cockatiels than cockatoos, and they have bright red heads to help ward off predators. Additionally, these birds mate for life (though we're not certain if Storm and Skye are mates), while many other cockatoo species do not.

Unfortunately, Gang-Gang cockatoos are endangered, with one of the most prominent threats to their species being deforestation. These cockatoos (as well as most other native species) lost a large part of their habitat to recent wildfires, while urban expansion has taken even more. The illegal pet trade is rampant in Australia, and this species has not been spared, either.

Storm and Sky are well taken care of, and their siblings accept them into the flock as well as they can. If only mom would keep her socks off the couch, then everything would be perfect!
