A brave young mom diagnosed with incurable cancer while pregnant has had one of her final wishes - to see Taylor Swift live - come true.

Laura Mahon, 31, was told she had an inoperable glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) brain tumor when she was 27 weeks pregnant.

She was given two years to live when she was diagnosed in 2021.

Last year, she decided to book tickets to see Taylor Swift perform at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium on June 13 - even though it was past her 'prognosis' date.

Laura says she 'wasn't sure' she would be able to go to the singer's sold-out Eras Tour with husband Danny.

Laura fell ill before the June 13 concert and couldn't attend but was able to rearrange tickets for the June 15 when she finally got to see her idol.

She said: "I wasn't sure I'd get there but it was incredible, I had an amazing time with Danny and I'm just so grateful.

"I just need to recover now and keep fighting."

Laura, of St Helens, Merseyside, was diganosed with the brain tumor in 2021, after she began struggling to walk and was unable to move her right leg or her toes.

She was forced to give birth to daughter Sienna Grace Laura Mahon at 30 weeks and has since had surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy and alternative treatments.

Just days before the June 13 concert, Danny said he didn't think she would be able to go to the concert - as she had several seizures and was in hospital.

But The Walton Centre in Liverpool, Merseyside, were able to swap her tickets for wheelchair-accessible ones on a different date, so she was able to go.

Danny said: "Laura's health is our number one focus.

"But due to what's happened Laura's been through so much, I knew how important it was to her that she's here to see it so lets get her there.

"Thursday was not going to happen but then the Walton staff said they would partially discharge her and speak to others to see what they could do.

"They had a bed on standby and everything and somehow we just made it happen.

"Once we got there a person with a flag guided us to the wheelchair access, the crowd parted and we got there.

"I was terrified as I knew so much could go wrong but Laura was made up and I know how much she's been going on about this."
