The Wake County Sheriff’s Office thanked Universal Chevrolet for hosting the second annual First Responders Appreciation Breakfast.
“We are incredibly grateful to Universal Chevrolet and all the partners who hosted this event. Events like these highlight the importance of community support and the invaluable service provided by our first responders in Wake County,” Sheriff Willie Rowe said.
It’s estimated that over 200 first responders from departments in Cary, Wake Forest, Zebulon, Northside, Corinth Holders, Wendell, Knightdale, and Middlesex attended.
Fire departments, rescue teams, police departments, fire inspectors, Duke Power Linemen, and public works departments were all represented.
Owner Paul White, along with his son Vince and nephew Travis from Universal Chevrolet, expressed pride in the local business supporters.
“Our annual community breakfast is a token of appreciation to our first responders in the surrounding areas. We would like to thank Wendell Builders Supply, AFC American Family Care, and Kioti Tractor for their vital contributions in cooking and providing food,” Paul White said. “The sense of security our local public service provides to our community makes us a desirable place to live and sets us apart from the rest of the country.”
