A tiny Dachshund puppy has the happiest pep in his step and a compilation video of each of his bounces is the sweetest thing ever.

On June 13, 2024, TikTok user Denny the Dachshund (@denny.the-dachshund) shared a compilation video of the little dog's bounces and everyone needs to see it. Take a look!

In a 22-second video we meet Denny, and now we can't get enough of him and his happy little steps.

"A compilation of Denny bounces," the text on the video says right at the start. And we see Denny, a black and brown Dachshund who has a whole lot of energy.

He has the same little bounce each time. Standing in front of his people parents, Denny--who is still very tiny--tries to jump to his human's hands either signaling he wants a treat or to be picked up or he's just so full of energy it just jumps out of him.

Standing, he bounces off his two front paws usually in a pattern of 3 to 4 times as if he were a bunny jumping but didn't move anywhere. And to be honest, if Denny was in front of us doing that cute little hop move, we would give him anything he wanted.

"His little bounces are one of the best parts of my day," the video caption reads. And in the comment section, people were on the same wavelengths we are.

"Aww, the little bounces," one person shares. "He's the cutest little thing."

    "Tippy taps," wrote another.

"So much cuteness," added someone else.

"Oh my goodness, if he isn't just the cutest thing," shared another person.

"I love their paws," added someone else.

Dachshunds Need to Be Mindful Not to Jump Too Much

According to the Trupanion , while Dachshunds are small in size, they're not lacking in the energy department.

"Since they're a hunting breed, the Miniature Dachshund needs frequent physical exercise," the site explains. "Since they're on the smaller side, usually, a couple of walks per day, along with play inside or in the yard, is enough to keep them physically fit."

Some of their favorite activities include chasing a ball, but they're not really the best at bringing the ball back. However, it provides them with enough exercise to help keep them at a healthy weight and prevent common issues in this breed, like back problems. However, there are some activities they shouldn't do, like big jumps.

"Their petite size means they shouldn’t be jumping from heights such as furniture or out of the car. It’s easy for them to injure themselves, and they’re prone to back problems which may or may not be made more likely by jumping," the site explains.

And the jump doesn't need to be really high for them to be injured, with Trupanion sharing that even jumping out of their human's arms can be dangerous.

"They’ll appreciate easier access to their favorite couch nesting spots with a ramp or dog stairs and should be lifted in and out of cars and on and off furniture."

And those happy feet are more than enough jumping, and they're so cute!
