If you've been staring at your coffee table and thinking, I need something new, you might want to watch this video before adding anything to your shopping cart. Your current coffee table might in fact make for the perfect up-cycle into your dream table! Save your cash and do a DIY; the work will be so worth it.

This creator was tired of her old table's aesthetic but instead of buying a new table that would cost her $100 or more, she decided to take $30 and revamp it herself. Not only did she save money, but she ended up with the coolest custom table ever!

Replying to @han <3 This is how I made my coffee table! It was only $30 for the supplies because I repurposed the glass from my old coffee table. What do yall think? 👀☺️ #diyhomedecor #homedecor #diydecor #coffeetable #westelm #cb2 #diyfurniture #CapCut

Honestly, this girl has more self-control than us.

TikTok creator Doni Brown ( @thedonibrown ) is the founder and host of the Wealthy Woman podcast, so clearly she knows when to save money and when to spend it. This girl is the queen of lifestyle tips! She even taps into DIY home decor so when she has a project to share, you know we're ready for it.

Doni had been staring at her black and glass coffee table in her living room and decided it just wasn't the vibe anymore. But she wasn't trying to spend over a hundred bucks on a new one when this one was in great shape! So what did she do instead? Build her own from the pieces.

How She Turned Her Basic Coffee Table into a Masterpiece

"Girl put that credit card down," Doni says in the video. "I know you've been eyeing some furniture but you have furniture at home. Let's up-cycle it and save some money!"

This project only cost her about $30 total for the entire thing. Such a steal!

Since the glass tabletop was still in perfect condition, Doni decided to DIY new legs. First stop? Home Depot. She grabbed four cement blocks, two for each table leg. She also picked up some drywall tape, plaster, and a pack of clear bumpers.

At home, she taped the bricks together in pairs and then applied the plaster overtop for that chic earthy texture. She let it dry for about twenty-four hours before adding on her preferred color of spray paint, which was black. Finally, she added on two rubber bumpers to each cement block before placing her glass tabletop on top.

    Gorgeous!
