    Donelson and Bauman named Lake Oswego High School Athletes of the Week for June 19

    Donelson is a senior on the Lake Oswego High School varsity girls’ track team, and Bauman is a senior on the varsity boys’ track team.

    Capping their high school careers with a bang, this week’s athletes brought their all to the Lakers in both girls’ and boys’ track. Seniors Josie Donelson and James Bauman have been named Lake Oswego High School’s Athletes of the Week for the week of June 19th.

    Donelson, a senior on the varsity girls’ track team, capped her Lake Oswego High School track career as the 3-time OSAA 6A State Champion in the 400m, 2-time champion in the 300m hurdles, 4-time champion in the 4x100m relay and 4 -time champion in the 4x400m relay. She also set the all-time state record in the 400m four times, the state record in the 300m hurdles and was part of the relay that holds the 4x400m state record.

    Bauman, a senior on the varsity boys’ track team, is the OSAA 6A State Champion in the 100m and he ran the fastest time of the year in the 200m. He went undefeated this season in Oregon in the 100m, 200m and the 4x100m relay. He was also the Three Rivers League Champion in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay setting league records in all. Bauman also ran the third fastest all-time in the 100m, seventh fastest all-time in the 200m and was part of the 4x100m relay that ran the third fastest all-time in Oregon history.
