Perfect Match’s Justin Just Revealed Why He Wasn’t in the Season 2 Finale

When he was mysteriously absent from the Perfect Match finale, everyone was wondering what happened to Justin. For the uninitiated, Perfect Match is a reality dating show where contestants from various other Netflix reality shows come together to find their perfect match. Set in a tropical paradise, the show involves participants pairing up to form couples. Each couple’s goal is to prove they are the most compatible, and their chemistry is tested through various challenges and dates.

The unique twist of the show is that the winning couple of each challenge gains the power to decide which new singles will join the competition and who will go on dates with whom, thereby influencing the dynamics and outcomes of the relationships.

Before the finale, Justin shared a four-minute-long video to TikTok in which he explained that he “made a conscious effort to walk off” the show after Elys broke up with him. Despite their split, he said that he doesn’t “regret a single thing” that happened between them, but that he wants some privacy in his dating life.

“I really did feel like I made a connection with Elys and she was my perfect match,” he explained. “I wasn’t going falsify any emotions or attraction towards someone [else] that I wasn’t genuinely interested in, just so I could drag them along for the sake of screen time,” he continued. “Call me crazy but I was there trying to find my perfect match. I had the most wonderful time on Perfect Match and met some best friends that’ll have for the rest of my life, and don’t regret a single thing.”
