In addition to serving as managing partner for KPMG’s Long Island office, Felicia Tucker fills several management roles for the Big Four accounting firm. She is lead partner of the KPMG Metro New York development and exempt organization tax practice. She is also the national leader of the KPMG international tax exempt services (ITES) practice, national co-leader of the KPMG tax exempt bond practice and co-developer of the KPMG Tax Exempt Bond Tool.

Tucker applies more than 23 years of experience in providing tax consulting and compliance services to clients in the higher education, private foundation, healthcare and other nonprofit industries. Her experience includes providing subject matter knowledge and guidance to a diverse portfolio of tax-exempt clients. Her current and past clients include large healthcare systems, public charities, religious organizations, colleges and universities, trade associations and private foundations. She advises them on various transactions related to their operations and provides tax planning and operational advice.

Early in her career, Tucker studied nursing. She became a licensed practical nurse and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology before studying law. She holds a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law and a Master of Laws in taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Tucker’s professional memberships include the Healthcare Financial Management Association New York/New Jersey Chapter, National Association of College and University Business Officers, American Health Lawyers Association and Suffolk County Bar Association.

In 2023, LIBN inducted Tucker into the Long Island Business Hall of Fame, and Nassau County named her a Woman of Distinction.
