Jothy Narendran is co-managing partner of Jaspan Schlesinger Narendran, where she also chairs the banking and financial services department. With nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Narendran has a distinguished reputation for representing institutional and private lenders in a wide range of complex commercial real estate financing transactions.

Deeply committed to her community, Narendran is involved with several charitable, educational and business-related organizations. She currently serves as president of Spectrum Designs Foundation and chair of the Touro Law Center board of governors. She chaired the Go Red for Women Long Island campaign event for the American Heart Association in 2021. She has also been a contributor to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island for the past two decades.

Narendran received her Bachelor of Science from New York Institute of Technology, her Master of Business Administration from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University and her Juris Doctor from Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.

Throughout her career, Narendran has received numerous awards, honors and distinctions. Earlier this year, LIBN included her on the list of top Influencers in Law. Last year, LIBN inducted Narendran into the Long Island Business Hall of Fame. Other recognitions for Narendran include being named among Blank State Media’s Women of Distinction and Herald Media Publications’ Top Lawyers of Long Island, both in 2023. Touro Law Center presented her with its Paul S. Miller Award in 2021, and she received the Big Brothers Big Sisters Presidential Award in 2007.
