What is Prime Day?
Prime Day is an Amazon Prime-exclusive sale event that occurs every year. During this sales event, Amazon Prime members can get access to a vast range of products (think: housewares, electronics, clothing, and of course, beauty products) at deeply discounted prices, including from Amazon’s own selection of items.
Is Amazon Prime Day only for Prime members?
The short answer: yes. If you want to participate in the sales event, you must be an Amazon Prime member to get in on the best discounts.
How much is an Amazon Prime membership?
An Amazon Prime membership is $14.99 per month, or $139 ($11.58 per month) for an annual subscription. Amazon also offers discounted membership programs—Prime Access ($6.99/month) and Prime Student ($7.49/month)—for individuals who meet these programs’ requirements. For new members, the retailer also offers a 30-day free trial.
