Ohio State, Texas, and the Next Possible Dynasties

With Nick Saban gone and Georgia in the midst of a dominant run, who could be next? Here you go.
1. Ohio State
— It’s coming, it’s just a matter of time. Will it be Ryan Day who leads the charge or will he be gone and Mike Vrabel or someone else takes over? Ohio State is recruiting too well, they are too powerful in the portal and they continue to assemble rosters that have to break through eventually.
Sep 17, 2022; Columbus, Ohio, USA; Ohio State Buckeyes defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau (44) celebrates a tackle during the first half of the NCAA Division I football game against the Toledo Rockets at Ohio Stadium.
— The move to the SEC makes things harder from a schedule perspective but helps in recruiting. With their NIL abilities and how much money is poured into this program, they have a chance to finally become a consistent juggernaut.
Texas Longhorns linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. (0) celebrates a sack during the game against Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, Sep. 9, 2023 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
— The Ducks have never won anything right? I know. And the move to the Big Ten could make it tougher. But they have deep pockets, a good and loyal coach and the recruiting to make a major move in the near future.
Oregon quarterback Bo Nix hands off the ball to running back Noah Whittington as the Oregon Ducks host Hawaii Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
— Mike Norvell stayed despite Alabama’s interest and the ACC is as weak as it gets. They should be an automatic playoff team every year for the foreseeable future and the way he coaches and can build a roster with recruiting and the portal, they are dangerous.
Florida State Seminoles wide receiver Keon Coleman (4) sprints down the field towards the end zone. The Florida State Seminoles defeated the Miami Hurricanes 27-20 on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023.
— Huh? I needed another SEC team and Alabama and Georgia aren’t available. LSU? I don’t believe Brian Kelly is the fit there. Florida is a mess, Auburn still has an Alabama problem until we see otherwise and A&M hasn’t proven a thing. Why not Ole Miss? Personally I don’t think Kiffin can win the big games needed but he’s a magician in the portal and that’s worked to put others in great position.
Dec 30, 2023; Atlanta, GA, USA; Mississippi Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin celebrates with quarterback Jaxson Dart (2) after a touchdown against the Penn State Nittany Lions in the second half at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
