Michael J. Fox Pens Romantic Note To Wife Tracy Pollan On Her 64th Birthday

Michael J. Fox is celebrating his wife, Tracy Pollan, on her 64th birthday with a romantic message and a “magnificent” day.

The Back to the Future star began his morning with a social media tribute to his wife that included some loving words and two beautiful snapshots.

The first photo showed Tracy looking glamorous in black and white, and the second showed the couple cuddling for the camera with a seaside backdrop.

“In every beautiful way, it’s beautiful Tracy’s beautiful day,” Michael captioned. “I love you and today will be magnificent. Always forever your Mike with so much love. Happy birthday.

“It’s gonna be an epic day, ” he concluded.

Michael J. Fox Says His Marriage With Tracy Pollan Has Been “The Best 35 Years” Of His Life

Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan have many years of love to celebrate . The couple met on the set of Family Ties when she played Ellen Reed in 1985. They headed to the chapel in 1988, and during their marriage, they welcomed four children, son Sam, 34, twin daughters Aquinnah and Schuyler, 28, and daughter Esmé, 21.

Throughout their lives together, Tracy has been a steadfast source of support during both the good and the bad, and Michael has never taken that for granted.

During their early years, the Emmy-winning actor was in his prime as one of Hollywood’s elites. But Michael ultimately gave up his career after he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Michael has praised his wife for being his rock as he lives with the debilitating condition saying she “didn’t blink” when doctors made the diagnosis and hasn’t since.

“Well, Tracy’s amazing. She’s there on the front lines with me every single day,” he told Willie Geist in 2020. “She never pretends to know as much as I know. And the other thing Tracy does is, if there’s something funny, let’s get to the funny. We’ll deal with the tragic later.”

More recently, Michael reflected on his relationship with Tracy and admitted that, despite the hardships, his time with her has been the “best” part of his life.

“It’s interesting, being married for 35 years,” he said while talking to People . “Yeah. I mean, the joke is you say I’ve been married 35 years, and it’s [been] the best 35 years of my life, so think about that one for a second.”
