WNBA superstar Breanna Stewart knows how difficult it is for any rookie to adjust to the pro league, which is why the New York Liberty star only has one piece of advice for Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and the 2024 Draft class: "Continue to learn."

Stewart arrived in the WNBA in 2016 as the Seattle Storm's No. 1 overall pick out of UConn. But sure enough, after being part of the Huskies' winning culture, joining one of the bottom teams in the league didn't come easy for Stewie.

The Storm improved and made the playoffs in Stewart's first year, but they still had a losing record of 16-18. The Atlanta Dream also made quick work of Seattle and eliminated the squad in the first round of the postseason.

"Losing so many games, especially when I didn't lose that much in college. And just the physicality. Understanding that everyone is bigger, faster, stronger and you're playing one of the best players in the world every single night," Stewart said about her hardest adjustment as a rookie, per ESPN.

And so when asked about what advice she could give Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and the rest of the 2024 rookie class--especially amid all the attention and hype surrounding them--Stewart emphasized that it's all about learning from the vets every step of the way.

" Continue to learn from each and every moment. It might not always go the way that you want and some days are going to be better than others. But continue to make sure you follow that vet that you have and learn from each thing that's happening," Stewart shared.

While Stewart's advice is simple, it's definitely an important reminder that rookies shouldn't forget. They have to remember that they are rookies and that they are going through a learning curve. Things won't always be perfect for them, no matter how hard they try.

Hopefully, Clark, Reese and the 2024 class have seen Stewart's advice and follow it.
