Thousands without power as severe weather moves through southern Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. -- Thousands of customers were without power as severe weather moved through Southern Wisconsin Saturday night

Madison Gas & Electric's outage tracker shows over 1,000 customers were without power as of 7:45 Saturday night.

We Energies outage tracker shows over 7,600 customers are without power. That included 2,633 in Dane County, over 2,300 in Jefferson County, and over 2,400 in Dodge County.

As of 8:10 p.m. Alliant Energy outage tracker reported over 8,500 customers were affected by power outages. That includes over 2,000 in Dane County, over 650 in Rock County and a little over 5,000 in Sheboygan County.
