A heat advisory is in effect for noon until 8 p.m. Monday with heat indices ranging between 100 -110 degrees, the National Weather Service said Monday.

It said to expect daily maximum temperatures in the 90s through the week, with heat indices in the 90s and into the 100s (up to 105 at times).

Overnight low temperatures in the upper 60s and 70s will offer little to no overnight relief from the heat, the National Weather Service said.
