We're having an "all night revival," and at Buckeye Country Superfest, we are having a 20-minute long "Revival." In times like this, I wonder if concert security are the real men of genius, getting to sit through some of the biggest shows of the year while getting a stellar view. Granted, that plan falls apart when you have to deal with those who overindulge, and bounce Chad out of the venue, but overall, most people are there to get along and have a good time. Last night during Buckeye Country Superfest, I wish I were one of the security guards at the front of the pit. The lineup was absolutely stacked as Levi Turner, Charles Wesley Godwin, Turnpike Troubadours, Billy Strings, and
Zach Bryan took the stage. One of the crowned jewels of the evening was when Billy Strings joined Bryan on stage for a face-melting 20-minute rendition of "Revival." Billy Strings COOKED during this performance. With it being the closer to the concert, I can't blame this security guard at the front of the pit for cutting loose and having fun with the fans near him. During the night's final song, footage of the security guard was taken jumping up and down as he sang along to the lyrics of the hit song. Should we petition for all pit security to have fun during "Revival?" It honestly looked electric to have him in the pit with fans enjoying the moment.
