A video of a group of Maine Coon kittens in a "sleepy kitten pile" highlights just how big this cat breed is, and it's surprising.
On June 19, 2024, TikTok user Wildmane Maine Coons (@wildmane_mainecoons) shared a video of three little Maine Coon kittens all cuddled together in a cute pile. Take a look!
In a 25-second video , we get to see really small Maine Coons , all orange and all very (very) cute.

The video's title reads, "Sleepy kitten pile," along with three emojis: the crying and pleading faces.
There were three kittens - the one in the middle was sleeping on their back, and the two other kittens, one on each side of the one on the back, were sleeping on their sides. The kitten closest to the camera even has its front paw under its chin, making this video much cuter.
You can see the little kittens dreaming, twitching, and stretching, their little tails curled up near their bodies.
It's unclear how old these kittens are, but they're likely only a few days old. They don't appear to be able to open their eyes yet, but we can't fully see that since they're so sleepy.
They don't look too much bigger than other cat breeds but there are a few signs that this cuddle puddle are Maine Coons , and their ears are one of them.
"Can you spot the Maine Coon ear tuffs?" the video's caption reads. It's refereeing the little hairs sticking out of the cat's ears, which is a big trait of Main Coons.
In the comment section, people were very much in love with these sweet kittens.
"So cute," one person wrote.
"Not me wondering if I can add a Maine Coon to my life," another joked.
"My heart exploded from cuteness," wrote someone else.
Other comments included many red heart emojis, heart-eye cat emojis, and "awwwws."

According to Tiki Kai Maine Coons , this breed has longer pregnancies than typical other breeds have.
"While most cats will be pregnant for 60 – 65 days with most of them delivering by day 63, Maine Coons tend to be pregnant 65 – 72 days with most delivering by day 67," the site explained.
Minoos Maine Coons says that the typical mating season for Maine Coons happens in April and May, and when it comes time for delivery, they can give birth to a litter of one to five kittens.
If you have a litter of kittens at home, the new mom typically doesn't need much help or intervention.
"Cats are typically good at taking care of themselves and their kittens," Small Door Veterinary says, "So there’s not much for you to worry about.
Cats would like privacy, and it's important to ensure they have easy access to a lot of food and water and keep stress levels down while everyone settles in.
