Sometimes, the perfect toy comes along that leaves your dog completely and totally in awe. It doesn't matter if it's a squeaking stuffed bear or a treat-filled Kong. If it's their favorite, they'll find themselves endlessly intrigued. One little Newfoundland pup finally found his match and their first meeting is caught on camera.

In a June 19, 2024 TikTok video posted by Notta Bear Newfoundlands ( @nottabear ), the cute puppy can't get enough of a singing stuffed animal. Watch the interaction below!

"Don't stop singing, Bingo! Its my favorite song!" the caption says. The 21-second clip shows a curious little pup nuzzling against a stuffed green triceratops that sings "Bingo" on repeat while moving around the floor. The adorable fluff ball is so into the song, tail wagging in excitement over his new friend's talents, it's like he's begging the toy to keep singing!

"Ooooh my God, I had to stop myself from screaming, this is literally sooo freaking cute and adorable," one person wrote. "Freakin adorable," another said. "This is the cutest!" another added.

If only someone could keep the song going all day, this puppy would be thrilled!

    Do Dogs Like Music?

Puppies are notoriously energetic, curious, and playful which can sometimes get them in trouble if you're not paying close attention. Finding the right toy matters so they don't get bored and start chewing on something they shouldn't. But what about a toy with music? Does it stir them up or calm them down?

Research by psychologist Deborah Wells of Queens University in Belfast for Psychology Today says yes, dogs like music. But just like in humans, the type of music matters.

The study "examined dogs’ reactions to hearing modern pop music, classical music, and heavy metal while living in a shelter environment," adding, "the dogs listening to pop music showed did not seem to have any type of reaction, the heavy-metal tunes prompted barking and agitation, and the classical music seemed to have a calming effect."

While this puppy enjoys the children's song being played, another littermate may not. Also just like people, they have their own personalities and tastes when it comes to toys. If you find a toy with the right music (like the singing triceratops), it'll keep them entertained for hours (or until something more exciting draws their short attention span away)! Either way, it'll be cute to watch them figure it out.
