Jennifer Lopez Is Reportedly 'Furious' With Matt Damon And Jennifer Garner For Siding With Ben Affleck Amid Rumored Split

Jennifer Lopez doesn’t seem to have a lot of support amid her and Ben Affleck ‘s rumored marital woes , as most people seem to be siding with the 51-year-old Gone Girl actor.

According to reports, the 54-year-old multihyphenate feels “betrayed” that Matt Damon is supporting the Argo actor, as is Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner and her mother-in-law, Christine Anne Boldt.

We shouldn't be surprised to hear that Ben's mom is siding with her son – even more so because she and the "On the Floor" hitmaker reportedly have never seen eye to eye. On the contrary, insiders claim that Ben's mom has always been a huge fan of the 51-year-old 13 Going on 30 actress, and thinks her son made a mistake splitting up with her.

"J-Lo's relationship with Christine has always been tense," an insider told Ok! magazine. "Christine's extremely close to Ben's first wife, Jennifer Garner, and thinks he made the biggest mistake of his life by letting her go."

"J-Lo can't help but think Christine is poisoning his head against her and thinks it's pathetic that Ben's run back to his mommy," the insider added.

Matt Damon 'Had Serious Reservations About Bennifer 2.0' From The Start

"She's furious with everyone on Team Ben, including Matt Damon and Jen," the source said, before another insider went on to say that Affleck has been confiding in Damon amid their ongoing relationship struggles.

"Ben is sad about it all but focused on his work, being a great dad and co-parenting well with Jennifer Garner," another insider shared. "He has been leaning on Matt Damon and his close circle of guy friends. Matt is always in Ben's corner and is supportive of him."

While he was always supportive of his friend, Damon was reportedly never fond of the idea of Affleck and Lopez getting back together, with the second source confessing: "Matt's had serious reservations about Bennifer 2.0 since the beginning." The insider added: "He's tried to be publicly supportive for Ben's sake, but the fact is he hates the way J-Lo treats his buddy and can no longer hold his tongue! It's no secret Ben and J-Lo haven't been getting along, as he always seems to be in the doghouse."
