Golfers will tee off this fall to raise $30,000 for school construction in Africa.

The World Outreach Ministry Foundation will hold its second annual golf tournament at the Duke at Rancho El Dorado Nov. 9, shotgun at 7 a.m.

The tournament will include a four-man scramble, a two-man scramble, contests, games, lunch and a silent auction.

Single tickets are available for $135, and a foursome costs $475, according to WOMF’s website . Pricing will increase Sept. 1.

For those who don’t want to golf but still want to put some money towards a good cause, lunch is available for $30.

WOMF has built over 30 schools across Africa since 1993, according to spokesperson Breanna DeVore. The foundation works in Ghana, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya and Tanzania.

“We aim to empower more children with the skills they need for a successful adulthood,” Devore said.
