According to Reuters, extreme heat can affect productivity and profits in several industries. Construction is at the top of this list. In blistering heat, jobs that may take two days can take as many as three or four days. Climatecrisis247 believes that this is only the start of the economic consequences of the level of temperature much of the world has suffered over the last week. Temperatures well over 100 degrees F are hazardous when people work in the sun. Last year, when Phoenix was hit with 110-degree days, the temperature on asphalt rose to over 180 degrees. The problem is worse in nations like India, where air conditioning is lacking, and people may be unable to work in the heat.

125 Degree Heat –How Does It Kill People

    Mecca Deaths –1100r More

Researchers have started measuring the effect of heat on people’s personal financial lives. The most obvious is the cost of utilities. According to NBC News , the average price of keeping a home cool in America from June 6 until September is $719. In 2021, that cost was $573. Climatecrisis247 believes this figure will increase as the heat rises most summers, as is expected due to global warming. It will become part of the inflation many Americans believe is undermining their spending power.

    FBI Reward

The FBI is offering $10,000 for information about the people responsible for the wildfires in New Mexico. In a statement, the agency wrote , “The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for starting the fires near Ruidoso, New Mexico”. The fires are known as the South Fork and Salt Fires. Climatecrisis247 believes this is the early stage of how law enforcement attempts to get information that is otherwise difficult to find. In fires that burn tens of thousands of acres, the causes may not be easy to identify. Not all are caused by humans. Some are from utility lines and lightning strikes.

    Climate Deniers

Climate crisis deniers are still found all over the world. According to The Guardian , “Australians are among the most sceptical around the world that humans are causing climate disruption and that the costs of tackling it will be less than that of its impacts,” Climatecrisis247 believes that problems cannot be solved if they aren’t acknowledged. Lack of belief in climate change is among the greatest reasons it is hard to address the catastrophe.
